In 2017, when a dystopian television program that imagined what life would look like if American women had all their rights which were removed from them and were forced to live under a cruel dictatorship regime. Are we closer to that being a reality, almost a decade later? It’s questionable.
What is not to be discussed is that The history of the servant – Based on the book of the same name of Margaret Atwood in 1985 – has become one of the greatest successes of Hulu, winning the very first Emmy for streamer, regularly shooting millions of viewers in the United Kingdom on Amazon Prime Video and Channel 4, and making an even larger star from the even larger star from the even bigger star from the star from the star from the star From the star from the even larger star from the star from the star even bigger from the star from the star even larger from the star from an even larger star from the star from an even larger star from the star even larger from the star from the star even greater from the star of more Mad Men‘S Elisabeth Moss.
But six series later, the story finally ended at the end of May 2025, when the last cowards of history around June (Moss), his family and friends were attached. The end could have been surprising for some fans – it was slightly ambiguous, just like the end of the original novel – but it had to make way for the book, 2019 The willswhich is now transformed into a television program by Servant tale Showrunner Bruce Miller.
As the show was only in production in early 2025, we would not touch The wills To be on the screen until 2026 at the earliest, but in the meantime, here is everything we know about the follow-up series, including the potential cast, the plot, the potential release date and if a trailer has been published.

The other two main protagonists for The wills are Agnes, who will be played by Chase Infiniti (for the last time in Presumed innocent) and Daisy, played by Lucy Halliday (Blue Jean). Without giving too much, we may already know who these girls are – they have just changed their names.
The other actors confirmed for roles in the series include Rowan Blanchard, who plays Shunammite, a teenager pampered by a well -known gilead family, whose “status offers him a certain level of respect and power among his peers”. Mabel Li, Amy Seimetz, Brad Alexander, Zarrin Darnell-Martin, Eva Fote, Isode, Shechinah Mpumlwana, Birva Pandya and Kira Guloien.
When Bruce Miller wrote The history of the servantHe said he had a hotline in Atwood, who wrote the wills at the time, and who had some requests from who could live and die in the show, so that the book works. She gave him a “killing list” which understood Lydia, and the daughters of June, Hannah and Holly.
He said The Hollywood Reporter: “She let me know like the creator of the world that things could move a little under my feet. The show exceeded the book, The history of the servant. So I was trying to find an end that corresponds well and I certainly played with a lot that she talked about doing The wills. “”
Elisabeth Moss will be executive producer The willsBut it is very unlikely that it appears in the show, unless it is in flashbacks. She could well direct some episodes, as she did in Servant tale.
