- Several leaks have made complaints on the dynamic island of the iPhone 17
- A new report indicates that it will undergo an “important evolution”
- But the claims are so vague that they really tell us very little
If you have followed all the latest rumors of the iPhone 17, you will probably have heard that the next Apple iPhone could be delivered with a redesigned dynamic island. This idea has just been reinforced by a leading leak, although their post is frustrating on solid details.
In a new interview with the Spanish language site Applex4, Leaker Majin Bu struck with their reflections on the dynamic changes of the dynamic island. There, they said that the functionality is defined for a “significant evolution”.
They added: “Apple seems determined to do [the Dynamic Island] More functional and integrated, by transforming it into a key element of the user experience. This evolution could mark a step forward in the interaction of the device, but for the moment, I will keep more details under the Wraps. Stay listening to see how this innovation takes place. »»
This information comes after the Chinese escape cat station commented on the dynamic island last week, saying that it would get a new design. The digital cat station previously said that the dynamic island would be reduced to its smallest size of the iPhone 17, but this contradicts the belief of Apple Ming-Chi Kuo analyst, who argued in January that the dynamic island would remain “largely unchanged” in the iphones of this year.
Is it something new?
Although it is a characteristic that is somewhat divisive of modern iPhones, I am a big fan of the dynamic island. This means that I pay special attention whenever someone tells how it could change in future Apple devices.
I would love to see a dynamic island thinner, or even the one that disappears entirely until it is necessary. The latter would require the use of sub-screen cameras and facial identification sensors, but could combine the beauty of an uninterrupted display with the functionality of the dynamic island.
Unfortunately, we do not get anything like of Majin BU, whose latest claims are extremely vague to the point of being fundamentally unverifiable. They did not share anything to note, apart from saying that the dynamic island should change in a nebulous and important way, which looks like a sure way of saying very little.
Apple, surely, would also say that the dynamic island Already Both “functional and integrated” and “a key element of the user experience”. Although Majin BU can have exclusive information here, their insane and refusal to share solid details could be an indication that the opposite is really true.
Majin BU has mixed history with regard to Apple leaks. Some of their predictions were on money, while others were largely of the brand. This, combined with the imprecision of their latest claims from the dynamic island, means that we must treat this last rumor with a skeptical skeptical degree until more reliable information emerge.
