Cal Raleigh, the Slugger of the Seattle Mariners who is the leader of the MLB in the circuits at the Stars’ break, is the long king of Atlanta.

And he made history in the process.

Raleigh defeated Tampa Bay Rays Budding Star Junior Caminero, 18-15, during the last round to win the Home Run 2025 derby at Truist Park Monday evening to launch the stars festivities.

“Big Dumper”, as he is affectionately known, is the first receiver to win the event since he started four decades ago. Raleigh is also the second player in the navy to have won because Ken Griffey Jr., the temple of fame that was in the canoe, was the only one before this performance.

Raleigh, who surrounded 38 circuits in what has become his escape season for the navies, was all smiling while he and his father, who launched him throughout the competition, celebrated the victory.

As Victor, Raleigh also obtains $ 1 million MLB dollars, while Caminero, who was the youngest derby champion of all time at 22, obtained $ 750,000 in the finalist.

There was also a moment in the final round, where it seemed that there could be controversy, when one of the boys of ball who broke the no -home racing balls in the outside field apparently stole a home run Caminero.

Caminero entered the bonus tour requiring five circuits to win, but he did not get closer when he struck too much game for Raleigh’s victory.

But Raleigh hardly left the first round, as he literally did.

The right -hander of athletics, Brent Rooker and Raleigh, both finished in the first round at 471 feet with their longest circuits. Since they each had 17 circuits, he went down to the exact distance and the longest raleigh ball was calculated at 470.63 feet compared to the 470.53 -foot bomb.

Apart from these two brilliant performances, the spinner of Pittsburgh Pirates, O’Neil Cruz, had the most memorable Home Run of the night. The Lefty, which timed exit speeds greater than 120 MPH in its career, hit a 513 feet ball, putting its entire 6 -inch frame.

The Star of the Atlanta Braves, Matt Olsen, was able to have a solid stretch towards the end of his first round, but he could not separate in the first four. Instead, the last place went to Byron Buxton, who had a big bonus tour to go to the semi-finals.

Buxton, however, had only seven circuits in the next round, leaving caminia with just a brand of eight homer that he had to reach. He did so with ease and had a good amount of rest while Raleigh and Cruz fought in head.

The young Washington Nationals Star Nationals James Wood had a respectable 16 circuits in the first round, while the interior field player of the New York Jazz Chisholm Jr. could not find the right blow with only three counted circuits.
