Rawalpindi:
The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-E-insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, called on party members to put aside personal differences and focus on the party movement, in the midst of increasing discord signs during a recent meeting held in Lahore.
Addressing the media after meeting Imran at Adiala prison on Tuesday, Aleema Khan said that the former Prime Minister had published two strong messages. “Differences are deliberately created during the Lahore rally,” she said. “End of personal disputes and focus on the movement.”
She said Imran also criticized her treatment in prison and allegedly alleged that he and his wife, Bushra Bibi, were subject to “oppression”.
“The superintendent of the prison and an officer have removed fundamental human rights,” she said, adding: “There must be a responsibility for the treatment I have endured. All of this is done on the orders of a single person.”

Aleema also said that Imran had expressed his satisfaction with the attendance of 300 party parliamentarians at the Lahore meeting, but warned that anyone who caused divisions in the party would be treated personally. “We are in prison, and you feed the rifts-it’s unacceptable,” she said.
“We have been coming to prison for two years now,” said Aleema. “Our family fully holds party decisions. We want to see that the founder’s instructions followed. The time has come to pave the way for his release and at the end of the inhuman treatment by the prison authorities. ”
Meanwhile, the secretary general of the PTI Salman Akram Raja publicly reprimanded the chief organizer of the PTI Punjab, Aliya Hamza, qualifying her as a recent tweet concerning the unnecessary party event and warning disciplinary measures.
Addressing journalists outside the Adiala prison, Raja expressed her frustration in the face of internal tensions following a rally in Lahore, which was followed by the management of the PTI. “Aliya Hamza shouldn’t have tweet on the Lahore event,” he said, adding: “The whole conversation was stupid. If something more happens, we will take disciplinary measures.”

He rejected the allegations of exclusion from the event, declaring that those who did not assist him did so by choice. “There was no problem with invitations. He who wanted to come could come. No one was arrested,” he said. “The press conference did not require the presence of everyone. I only went because the chief minister was there. It would not seem good if he was addressed to the media alone,” he added.
Criticizing efforts to politicize the event, he said: “Controversy was deliberately created around the Lahore event as part of a conspiracy. What was the need to tweet after the press conference? I reject this tweeter and warn: do not start again. ”
Raja also clearly indicated that the party would follow the calendar fixed by the founder of PTI, Imran Khan. “The date given by the founder will be held. These 90 -day talks mean nothing. What I say is correct, and if someone dares to contradict, I will take care of them.”
He stressed that Aliya’s role was to mobilize the party in Punjab – not to publicly comment on the internal questions. “His work is to work, not to tweet. We will manage this movement according to the founder’s instructions,” he concluded.
PTI faces the internal flaw
PTI is struggling with the internal divisions on the calendar and the strategy for a national demonstration aimed at ensuring the release of the former Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Discord, mainly between the central leadership of the party and its chapter of Punjab, increased tensions as an approach proposed on the date of protest of August 5, marking two years since the imprisonment of Khan.
Central management – including the president of the lawyer Gohar Ali Khan and Khyber -Pakhtunkhwa, the chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur – pleaded for a 90 -day campaign culminating in a decisive demonstration, stressing a strategic accumulation to maximize the impact.

Gandapur, speaking during a Lahore press conference on July 13, described the movement as a “do-gold” effort to challenge what PTI calls a “fascist regime” and to guarantee the release of Khan.
On the other hand, Aliya firmly supported an immediate demonstration on August 5, corresponding to a call attributed to Imran Khan via his sister, Aleema Khan.
Aliya would have threatened to resign if the party departs from this date, highlighting a lack of coordination with the central management. The rift has become public when it expressed its frustration on X.
