“I was quite frustrated, I’m not going to lie,” McLaurin told journalists on Tuesday. “Everything that has happened so far was disappointing and frustrating. I wanted to continue my career here. I created my life here. My wife and I bought our first house here, so it’s somewhere where I always wanted to be.”

Before signing its first contract extension in 2022, McLaurin jumped the compulsory mini-camp, while he was standing for better agreement. He said he had not decided if he would jump for the training camp if his frustrations were continuing.

“I haven’t decided it yet,” said McLaurin. “I try to take things from day to day. I think it is the disappointing part where I hoped until this moment that things would clarify much more than them. I have not yet made this decision. I just want to see how the rest of this week is going and take it day after day and from there.”

McLaurin became the best weapon in the quarter Jayden Daniels last season and was the large receiver No. 1 on commanders throughout his six -year career.
