Kai Trump’s love for golf has started at the age of 2, and she attributes to her grandfather, President Donald Trump, as a person who helps cultivate his passion for the game.

It is not a secret for anyone that the 47th President of the United States likes to go out on the golf course when he can, and his own love for sport is one of the many things that his 18-year-old granddaughter says he maintains their strong link.

Kai, who will play golf course at the University of Miami in 2026, spoke to PK Press Club Digital about how sport plays a role in his relationship with his grandfather.

“Me and he are very close, and we got linked to golf. So he influenced me a lot with golf course, especially when I spoke about schools and colleges,” she said, discussing her Nile partnership with Accelerator Active Energy. “He liked that I was going to Miami because Trump Doral was also there, so he influenced me a lot with golf.”

President Trump has spent time with his granddaughter on the golf course over the years when she worked on his profession to reach this competition at the level of division I.

Even before his political career, Trump’s love for golf led 15 courses led by Trump Golf, including 11 in the United States, Kai played these courses, while being exposed to resources that she does not know that each golfer did not have the opportunity to learn the game.

“I was very, very lucky, and I am obviously very grateful for all the resources I had,” she explained. “Obviously, I used these resources to become a great golfer now. But I’m very lucky because few people have these opportunities.”

But it’s not just golf. President Trump’s passion for sport is much wider.

For example, UFC matches are a frequent stop for the president, and Kai joined his grandfather and other family members in Miami for the UFC 314. She walked next to him while he entered the center of Kaseya towards a noisy crowd.

“I don’t think I have never heard such a strong arena in my whole life,” she said about the experience. “But it was really cool to see everyone support him, especially in Miami. It was really nice. And when I was driving there, I stopped at my school just to see the campus and what no. It was really cool.”

Although Kai is not a football fan like his grandfather, they share a love for sports outside the golf course.

“We looked at a lot of tennis together,” she revealed. “I love tennis. I grew up playing tennis when I was 2 years old, just like golf. So, I started with tennis and golf. We like to look at that together, especially like Wimbledon. I know it was yesterday, but we like to do it together.”

Partnership with Accelerator

Being a university athlete in today’s NCAA means having the ability to take advantage of your brand, and Kai has already developed a sequel through its social networks and its passions of content creation.

It concluded an Nile partnership with Accelerator Active Energy, becoming the brand’s first Golf Nile partner, while being a share partner.

Accelerator Active Energy is the brand that has been acclaimed for launching “The Livvy Fund” with the former Livvy Dunne university gymnastics to support female university athletes. Dunne is also a partner in action, as is the superstar of Kansas City Travis Kelce chiefs.

A video on the presidential theme in which Kai addresses “American compatriots and content creators” announced this decision, which could not be more excited.

“It’s pretty cool, especially to be partners with such great athletes and to be up there,” she said.
