Russian tales translation revealed

Islamabad:

Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) organized a prestigious launching ceremony of the Book of the Russian Translation Book on Tuesday entitled “Roos Ki Mattakhib Kahanian” on Tuesday.

The book was recently published by Pakistan Academy of Letters. The launch of the book was an important step in promoting literary exchanges and cultural ties between Pakistan and Russia.

The ceremony was chaired by the eminent poet and scholar Iftikhar Arif. While the Russian Federation Ambassador to Pakistan, Albert Khorev was the main guest.

Pal president, Dr. Najeeba Arif, said the welcome address, stressing the importance of literary diplomacy and cultural dialogue. She expressed PAL’s commitment to promote global literature in Pakistani languages, declaring that translations serve as bridges that connect readers through borders.

She also proposed that an anthology of the new Pakistani people was translated into the Russian language and published by the counterpart of the Academy in Russia.

In his remarks, ambassador Albert Khorev praised the initiative and stressed the role of literature in the construction of mutual understanding between nations.
