The first goal player of New York Mets star, Pete Alonso, wants to introduce a rule that would bring fights in the major baseball league.

Alonso, 30, said that he did not think that players should be ejected for loading the mound and fighting.

“If there is a rule that I could change, I don’t think people should be ejected after loading the mound and fighting. I think it should be a hockey style,” Alonso said at a press conference on Tuesday.

The Quintuple All-Star pointed out that the fight should be a player against a player to avoid injuries as much as possible. Alonso said that when the fighting occurs and the two entire teams are on the field in a moshpit, this is when players can injure themselves.

Alonso also suggested that for a player who did not want to fight if he was accused by an opposing player, he could yield and withdraw effectively.

“I think there is a rule if you want to go out and load the mound, then you should be able to do it, but if the launcher or the striker or anyone loads and if they do not want to fight, they take a knee and they do not have to fight,” said Alonso.

The National League wins the MLB star match in a historic way

“If someone takes out and takes a knee, that’s what it is, then you go both to your way, that’s what I would change in the game.”

However, in the proposed rule of Alonso, if a player definitely loses the fight, he is ejected from the game while the winner becomes in the game.

In the NHL, it doesn’t matter who wins the fight, the two players receive a five -minute penalty for fighting.

In Alonso’s scenario, a player could win a fight against a launcher after being struck by a field, then go to stand on the first base and stay in the match while the launcher, after losing the fight, would leave the match.

MLB commissioner Rob Manfred brought a lot of rules in his mandate, but as radical as Alonso’s suggested rule.

Alonso has been great this season for dishes because he is in the middle of a year of career. The Slugger Star has an average of the stick of .280 with 21 circuits and 77 points produced while directing the National League with 26 doubles.
