On Wednesday, the temple of renowned Ryne Sandberg baseball shared an update on its battle against prostate cancer.

Sandberg, 65, was initially diagnosed in January 2024. He announced several months later in August that he was without cancer.

However, the legend of the Chicago Cubs announced in December that cancer had not only returned, but had spread to other organs.

“I wanted to share an update concerning my health. It was difficult to be difficult, because I am regularly followed,” wrote Sandberg in his latest article. “While I continue to fight, I can’t wait to get the most out of everyday with my family and my loving friends.”

When cancer returned in December, Sandberg said he was “back to more intensive treatment”.

Sandberg threw the first launch in the Cubs opening match in April. MVP NL 1984 said it was “excited” for the second half of the season.

“I did not go to Wrigley Field as much as I hoped in the first half, but I watch every match and I am excited for the second half and to see Wrigley swing like 1984!” Sandberg wrote at the time. “Thank you all for the support messages. Come on Cubs!”

The Cubs have given Sandberg a lot to encourage because they are 57-39 and have an advance of 1.0 match on the Brewers of Milwaukee. Sandberg has played all games except 13 during his 16 -year -old career with the Cubs.

Sandberg made the star match 10 consecutive years in his illustrious mandate of Cubs. He is a winner of nine times Gold Glove and seven covers in money.
