Pakistan, United Kingdom discuss health collaboration

Islamabad:

A delegation from the British High Commissioner met on Thursday the Federal Minister of Health Syed Mustafa Kamal and discussed the alignment of the UK support portfolio with the health priorities of Pakistan.

During the meeting with the delegation led by the British High Commissioner and the Director of Development, Ms. Jo Moir, the Minister underlined the challenges of Pakistan, in particular a high charge of transmitted and non-transmitted diseases.

The main reforms discussed included the revision of the NFC price, which suggests that the current weight of 80% awarded to the population is reduced to 50%.
