We have known for some time that a Samsung tripolar phone has been on the way – it has been teasing throughout the unpacked event in January – and new leaks indicate a real launch later in the year, as well as an official name of the device.
In accordance with the veteran universe ICE (via Android Authority), we can expect to see the breaking coverage of three times in October. This would take him three months after the unveiling of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7, and three months before the planned introduction of the Samsung Galaxy S26.
During the last event unpacked in July, Samsung briefly mentioned the tripping after announcing its new foldables and the Galaxy Watch 8 – but only to say that the Huawei Mate XT rival had not been forgotten and was still on the way.

And it could be the name
We have already seen clues that the tripolization would be called the Galaxy G Fold, but that will not be the case: as GalaxyClub (via Samambobile) pointed out, the name Galaxy Z Trifold has been deposited in the country of origin of Samsung, South Korea.
This is the obvious name to opt for: it corresponds to the existing name z system, while clearly indicating that there is an additional fold (and an additional display panel) here. Nothing is certain before the full announcement, but it is a name that makes sense – and official documents are available online.
However, the GalaxyClub team is not sure that it is the end of the story. The brand can simply be a reserved space, they suggest, or Samsung can choose to give a different name on the phone when it deploys internationally.
Something we can be sure of is the price. The existing Huawei Mate XT costs a lot of money, and current estimates for Samsung tripoline suggest that this could cost you $ 3,000 at $ 3,500 (around £ 2,240 at £ 2,610 £ / $ 4,635 to $ 5,410).
