- Pixel Watch 4 should make its debut on August 20
- It will be apparently more repairable than the Pixel 3 watch
- Two new emergency features are also now rumors
We did another by Google Event approaching quickly on Wednesday August 20, where we should obtain the great disclosure of the Pixel 4 watch – and some fresh leaks have now given us a better idea of what is happening with this laptop.
According to information obtained by the big titles of Android, the smartwatch will be much more repairable: it “can actually be dismantled and maintained if necessary,” said the report, unlike the Google Pixel Watch 3, which was launched last year.
This is not a complete surprise, because a Google executive concluded the disc in September by saying that the improvement of the repair was something that the company “thought” with regard to the Pixel Watch series and other Google products.
If this is something we see happening this year, it would certainly be welcome and could avoid having to pay for a brand new smartwatch. This is also a problem that we have had with the Pixel watch for several years now.
More emergency features
Android titles also predict some emergency features that apparently go to the Pixel 4 watch, building existing features such as emergency SOs, accident detection and falls detection.
Added to this list, we will get respiratory emergencies, it seems. This will alert you when the Pixel Watch 4 detects that your oxygen levels are low, via the SPO2 sensor – so that you can go and have you checked if you need it.
Then there are emergency satellite communications, which we assume to be an extension of the functionality on the last pixel phones. This means that you would be able to contact the emergency services, even if you do not have a cell or Wi-Fi signal.
We do not get too much details in this leak, but they are upgrades to find the big show next month. Techradar will of course cover all the news live, and the product unveils should also include the Google Pixel 10 series.
