Libya, Pakistani military leaders discuss security

The commander-in-chief of the lieutenant-general of the Libyan armed forces, Lieutenant-General Saddam Khalifa Haftar, called Marshal Syed Asim on Friday.

The meeting has entered the discussion on questions of mutual interest, the evolution of regional dynamics, the challenges of security and the questions relating to the cooperation of the defense, said a press release published by the ISPR.

The two leaders agreed to undertake the industrial collaboration of defense and the exchange of technical expertise to meet the challenges of contemporary security.

Upon his arrival in GHQ, he posed a floral crown at Yadgar-e-Shuhada to pay tribute to the martyrs of the Pakistani army.

Lieutenant-General Haftar also called the Marine Chief of Staff (CNS), the Admiral made Naved Ashraf here on Friday at the siege of the Navy.
