Linkin Park has just revealed that the song Another light Live is “too sad to play” and will no longer play it.
The title of the group’s album is the final work they made with the deceased legendary singer of the group, Chester Bennington, who committed suicide in 2017.
Mike Shinoda, the group’s co-founder, explained to The guardian newspaper: “[It was originally written] For a woman from the label with whom we worked who died. Then, after the death of Chester, the world decided that it was him. And so it’s too sad to play. “”
After the death of Chester, Mike took the time of Linkin Park to face the sorrow to lose his boyfriend and wrote the solo album, Post-trauma.
He explained that he “wanted to do Post-trauma like a newspaper of what I felt for me ”, [but also had the urge to play live] “To provide an area to fans to commune and go:” Oh, Mike is still there. We haven’t lost everyone. “”
Although Mike found the visit useful, “at the beginning”, he could not wait to end it because he started to become “exhausting”.
