The CEO of the Astronomer Inc technological firm resigned after being surprised canoeing on the camera during a rock concert with a woman who was not his wife, the company announced on Saturday.
The company has published a written declaration on its LinkedIn profile indicating that its leaders “should establish the standard in conduct and responsibility, and recently, this standard has not been respected”.
The press release indicates that Andy Byron had offered his resignation as CEO and that the Board of Directors had accepted it. Byron had been put on leave on Friday and the product manager Pete Dejoy is the acting CEO.
Byron and the chief popular officer of the astronomer, Kristin Cabot, were photographed during the Coldplay concert on Wednesday in the Massachusetts in a clip clip which quickly became viral.
A company spokesperson said the pair was the only employees of the company taken in photography. The spokesperson did not respond to a request for comments on the status of the employment of Cabot.
Once Byron and Cabot realized that they were shown on a Jumbo screen inside the Gillette stadium while they kissed, Byron died out of sight and Cabot covered his face with his hands and turned.
The main singer of Coldplay, Chris Martin, replied by saying: “Either they have a connection, or they are simply very timid.”
Internet detectives immediately went to work and identified Byron and Cabot by their social media profiles before the company confirms their identity.
