Corey Adams, a first -year student of the Ole Miss Rebels football team, was killed during a shooting in Tennessee on Saturday evening, officials announced. He was 18 years old.
The Sheriff’s Bureau of the County of Shelby said that the incident had occurred in Cordova, which is located just east of Memphis. The officials said that the deputies who responded had discovered a man suffering from a ball injury and provided “safeguard measures” until the fire service arrives.

The victim was then declared dead on the scene. Adams was then identified as the victim.
The officials said that the deputies had found several shellfish envelopes on the scene and later learned that four other victims of gunshots registered in hospitals in the region. They were listed in a non -critical state.

Ole Miss then published a declaration on the death of Adams.
“We are devastated to learn that Corey Adams, a first year of the team, died last night in Cordova, Tennessee,” said the school. “While our program tries to face this tragic loss, our thoughts go to loved ones during this incredibly difficult period.

Adams was an off-competition high school football player at Edna Karr in New Orleans. The defensive line player was assessed as three -star recruitment prospect. It was a selection of both teams from the first team.
He had 51 plated and 12 bags during his first year of high school.
