- Beelink GTI15 Ultra offers steam cooling in a chassis barely larger than a pocket novel
- A fingerprint reader and the 10GBe dual ports are rare.
- GPU external support solves a problem and creates three others in terms of cost and imprints
Beelink’s ultra mini PC GTI15 has been launched with features more often associated with full -size office computers.
The remarkable elements include the Double 10 GB Ethernet LAN ports, a fingerprint reader and the management of external graphics – additions that suggest that it is designed for users who require more than occasional navigation or media reading, in particular those looking to reduce size without giving up specific performance advantages.
Compared to its predecessor, the GTI14, the new GTI15 Ultra brings an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processor, but the performance gain of crude CPU is modest, around 11%, on the basis of internal landmarks.
Marginal processor gains, more clear gpu contrast
Beelink’s GTI15 ultra does not emerge in a vacuum; This is the next step in a mini PC line that has gradually pushed the envelope.
Previous models like the GTI12 Ultra and GTI14 Ultra have launched the inclusion of a PCIe X8 extension location for the Beelink owner platform, targeting users who wanted a compact factor but who always needed the option of an office class GPU.
However, the biggest change lies in 140T integrated arc graphics, which replaces the IGPU with 8 arc cores of the previous model.
Despite the brand, this change may not lead to a significant leap for GPU tasks.
The option to connect Beelink’s external GPU quay certainly offers more flexibility, but not without additional cost and space concerns.
With up to 64 GB of DDR5 memory and an integrated PSU 145W, the ultra GTI15 is presented as a serious machine for demanding users.
The Dual 10GBe ports point to a networking edge that could appeal to niche professional workflows, which makes it potentially viable as a corporate PC – but in most work parameters, such a bandwidth far exceeds the real requirements.
The same goes for the cooling of the steam chamber, which can help thermal but more like a subject of discussion than a necessity in the typical office scenarios.
From about $ 655 in naked and climbing to almost $ 880 when configured with 64 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, this mini PC landed in price territory occupied by desktop computers and capable laptops.
Although the attraction of an elegant video editing PC in such a small imprint is understandable, compromises remain, in particular when taking into account the limited internal GPU and dependence on external quays for complete graphic performance.
