Snoop Dogg has become co -owner of the English championship Side Swansea City.
The football club presented the new investor on Thursday with photos of the rapper shaking their new reception jersey for the 2025-26 season.
“My love of football is no secret, and it is special to move into the club’s property with Swansea City,” said Snoop in a statement published on the club’s website.
“The history of the club and the region has really touched a sensitive string with me. It is a city and a proud working class club. An outsider that bites – like me. “
This decision puts snoop alongside high -level owners in Swansea, who includes the former faithful of Real Madrid and finalist of the Croatia World Cup, Luka Modric, who became a minority parter part this year.
It is relevant to mention that his involvement of Swansea comes after the American businessmen Brett Cravatt and Jason Cohen took over the club last November.
This decision also positions Snoop Dogg as a direct rival to North American compatriots Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mcelhenney, which bought the Wrexham AFC club in 2020.
Wrexham, recently promoted to Ligue 1, will continue his pre-season tour and will return to Wales after Saturday’s match against Wellington Phoenix in New Zealand.
