PAKISTAN:
President Asif Ali Zardari conferred Nishan-I-Imtiaz (military) to the Vice-Amiral of the Saudi Navy, Mohammad Bin Abdul Rehman Al-Ghoraibi on Monday, in recognition of his exceptional efforts to strengthen naval and defense cooperation between the two countries.
The prize was awarded during a special inauguration ceremony held at Aiwan-E-Sadr, which was assisted by the naval staff chief, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, the Saudi Arabian ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf Bin Saeed Al Malki and the superior officers of the armed forces.
His contributions to the improvement of joint naval exercises, training exchanges and strategic maritime dialogue have considerably deepened bilateral links.
