The arrangement of the PTI Senate is expanding internal dissent

Islamabad:

PTI secretary general, Salman Akram Raja, has opened a new Pandora box concerning his party’s siege sharing agreement with the opposition to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) elections.

He said that the PTI management had made the decision to conclude the agreement and that the founder incarcerated from the party, Imran Khan, has not yet approved or rejected. “If the founder refuses to accept it, then we will do everything he will decide,” said Raja on Monday while addressing the media.

According to Raja, there were two opinions within the party on the opportunity to contest the elections in the Senate and which he later decided to challenge the elections after making an adjustment with the opposition

He said that for the four seats of the Senate General, the PTI chief, the defender of Zaheer Abbas, had presented names last week in the name of the founder.

“I do not think that Zaheer Abbas has distorted anything. In our party, no one takes decisions alone. The case was communicated to the chief minister of KP, Ali Amin Gandapur, but I cannot comment on the pressure he could have faced,” he added.

He said that the founder’s list included candidates for four general seats, a technology seat and a seat for women, adding that the discussion was only about five seats.
