Islamabad:
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Tuesday that the government was building a safe and favorable environment for the Chinese community in Pakistan.
“The confidence of Chinese companies in the Pakistani economy is extremely important for our economic future,” said the Prime Minister while chaired a meeting concerning the security agreements for Chinese citizens in Pakistan.
“China is our friendly country,” said the Prime Minister stressing that the protection of the Chinese brothers was the absolute priority of the government.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister was informed of the progress of the special security agreements for Chinese nationals across the country.
The Minister of the Interior informed the Prime Minister of the implementation of national security agreements.
In the briefing, it was declared that in light of potential terrorist threats, special security agreements for Chinese nationals had been applied.
The federal government and all the provinces are working in full cooperation on this subject, the briefing stressed by adding that city projects in complete safety were under construction across the country.
Police school
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the National Police Academy (NPA) on Tuesday and addressed the 52nd commons batch of assistant police superintendents (ASPS), announcing a complete overhaul of the institution, aligning it with the standards of the Pakistani military academy.
