The UFIBEE Association (UFA) Ultimate team from Colorado has made a surprising gesture.
The National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) awarded a team of expansion in Denver. While the new team was looking for its name, colors and crest, the summit of Colorado decided to “pass the torch”. More than 50,000 fans were interviewed during research. The summit turned out to be the most popular name among the supporters.
The transfer paved the way to the NWSL to become the Denver Summit FC. The inaugural season of the new football club is expected to start in 2026.

The crest of the football team seems to be dark green mountains which are placed in front of a red-orange and golden sunset. The summit said that the color reddish-orange was chosen because it was intended to “capture the dramatic sunsets seen through the colorado”.
The co -owner of Colorado Summit Sal Pace underlined the collaborative nature of the decision and expressed his enthusiasm about the next chapter of the Frisbee franchise.

“It is more than a transfer – it is a collaboration built on respect, teamwork and the growth of our Colorado sports community for everyone,” said Pace. “It is a huge honor to see the name of the summit live in professional women’s football, and we are delighted to take our fans with us in a new era for the Colorado Ultimate Frisbee.”

The Colorado Summit has published a statement calling for a “rare moment” of the sporting spirit “.
“The partnership represents a rare and refreshing spectacle of the sporting spirit in the world of Sports of Colorado – where a team of rapidly growing sport from Ultimate Frisbee supports with enthusiasm of the rise of the new professional female football team of Denver – the most popular sport of the globe,” said the declaration.

The Frisbee team will need a new name in the future. In light of this fact, the franchise launched a competition in search of fans comments.
In the coming weeks, fans will have the opportunity to submit suggestions and vote on names. The finalists should be announced in the coming weeks. The winning name should be unveiled before next season kick -off, the team confirmed.
The colorado eliminators were continuing on Saturday during their confrontation with the Frisbee Club Frisbee Oakland Spiders.
