- The Kuycon G32P 6K monitor imitates the design of Apple but enters the market without proven credibility
- USB4 with a power delivery 100w promising sounds for creators looking for a unique workstation configuration
- Detail limited availability raises questions about customer service and regional return policies
The Chinese manufacturer Kuycon enters the market of the fiercely competitive sales instructor with a 32 -inch 6K instructor at a price of around $ 1,700.
The Kuycon G32P is intended squarely to professionals who could otherwise consider the pro XDR pro display, offering basic specifications similar to a fraction of the cost.
The capture? Kuycon is not a familiar name, and the monitor’s real performance and support ecosystem remains largely not tested.
Impressive specifications, but credibility is still in question
The G32P has a resolution 6144 x 3456 on a black nano ips panel supplied by LG, offering a high pixel density ideal for tasks that require visual clarity.
For those looking for a monitor for photo or video modification, the Kuycon specification sheet is likely to be attractive.
It supports the real 10-bit color depth, with a coverage measured in the 99% DCI-P3 factory and 99% SRGB, and a contrast ratio evaluated at 2000: 1.
The 500-nit brightness and HDR10 compatibility put it online with most high-end professional monitors, at least on paper.
One of the most striking choices is the use of shiny laminated glass at the front, designed to improve clarity and minimize the distortions without using a complex local lighting.
This approach reflects Apple’s choices with the Pro XDR display, and the overall design of the G32P, including its anodized aluminum construction and its thermal optimized rear, clearly acquiesce in the aesthetics of the company.
But while the G32P looks like the room, it does not include a stand in the base price – instead, users must add a separately or rely on the VESA 100x100mm support to use theirs.
Connectivity is another strong point, with DisplayPort 2.1 and Dual HDMI 2.1 ports supported up to 48 GOPS each. The device also supports the Thunderbolt 4 / USB4 input with a power delivery 100W and two USB-C ports for peripheral expansion.
These features align it with what awaits a sales instructor today, in particular that intended to operate in the context of a wider workstation configuration.
Kuycon also includes all the required cables and adapters, a 3.5 mm helmet socket and a calibration ratio, offering a complete out -of -box experience.
That said, the attractive specifications and the price, which vary from $ 1,700 to $ 2,000 depending on the region and the configuration, do not eliminate concerns about long -term support, regional availability and resale value.
The sales channels are currently limited, with availability via niche retailers such as clickclack.io.
As with any unknown brand, questions remain on the reliability, guarantee and consistency of colors over time.
