PTI finalizes the protest plan

Islamabad:

The PTI finalized a full plan for its protest movement expected on August 5 in the middle of an extended break in the party.

According to sources, the central management of the party has given new instructions to all provincial leaders and organizational units to ensure strong participation in the demonstration on August 5. It has been decided that each ticket to lord will lead a protest demonstration in their respective constituency and will hold a rally.

However, party reports suggest that several leaders have expressed a lack of confidence in secretary general Salman Akram Raja. Sources say that Raja said during several meetings that he did not “protest”, which led to the dissatisfaction of certain members of the party concerning his role.

An important meeting of the Party political committee is expected today (Saturday), but no place has yet been finalized. Sources have said that Raja has already left for the Sindh, without taking into account the importance of the political committee, which could deepen internal divisions within the party. In addition, following convictions linked to the events of May 9, several senior leaders remain absent from the public scene, affecting the party’s organizational activities.

Earlier, Thursday, a declaration of the founder incarcerated by PTI, Imran Khan, appeared in the media in which he ordered each member of his party to immediately put all internal differences and to focus only on the protest movement of August 5, “for which no significant dynamics are currently”.
