Intel continues to cut jobs
Despite the economic challenges he faced, Intel managed to publish a quarterly turnover from one year to the next, at 12.9 billion dollars, but the period saw the company accumulate about $ 1.9 billion in restructuring fees.
Speaking in the second quarter of Intel, the new CEO LIP-BU Tan praised the performance of the company: “We made the income above the height of our advice, reflecting a solid demand and execution through the company.”
“The changes we make to reduce our operating costs, improve our capital efficiency and monetize non -essential assets have a positive impact while we are working to strengthen our assessment and position the business for the future,” added the financial director David Zinsner.

Projects previously planned in Germany and Poland have been withdrawn, while assembly and test operations in Costa Rica will be consolidated in Vietnam and Malaysia.
Tan pointed out that Intel remains attached to its X86 tokens, such as consumer and companies of Panther Lake and Nova Lake and the granite rapids are limited to the data center.
“We must continue to act with urgency, discipline and concentrate in everything we do,” he concluded.
