Islamabad:
Federal Minister of Communications, Aleem Khan, ordered the National Highway Authority (NHA) to remain alert given the new fate of the expected monsoon and the ongoing help efforts.
The president of the NHA has issued new instructions, ordering all officers to leave their offices and stay on the ground, maintaining close and constant surveillance of the situation, a press release said.
He added that all the holidays for the officers and the staff were officially canceled.
The president asked that all officers should prepare for their emergency intervention plans and in the event of an unforeseen situation, these plans should be implemented immediately without delay.
