Rawalpindi:
The armed forces of Pakistan and the nation paid tributes rich in Capt Muhammad Sarwar Shaheed, the first recipient of Nishan-E-Haider, during his 77th Martyrdom Anniversaire on Sunday.
“His supreme sacrifice in the fire line remains a lasting symbol of value and patriotism,” said a press release from the ISPR. “His life embodies the fundamental military values of duty, honor and ultimate sacrifice,” he added.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in their separate messages, paid tributes rich to Captain Sarwar, recognizing his courage, persistence and supreme sacrifice.
