Islamabad:
The workers of the Central PTI Secretariat were taken care of a financial crisis, as their wages were reduced by almost nine months ago.
According to sources, despite the repeated promises of the management, the employees have not yet received their arrears.
The salary discounts were implemented for the first time in October of last year and have not been reversed since.
Although many employees have suffered difficulties such as arrest, detention and torture, they have always been dismissed from their employment.
Sources have also revealed that some of these employees had first against them and remained faithful to the party during difficult times, but their sacrifices were overlooked.
The sources have added that the president of the PTI, the lawyer Gohar Ali Khan, Salman Akram Raja and Sheikh Waqas Akram, have been informed several times of the grievances of the employees, but no practical measure has been taken so far.
PTI information secretary, Sheikh Waqas Akram, had assured employees that their contributions would soon be paid.
However, the promises remain unsatisfied.
In addition, the former head of the PTI media department, Sibghatullah Wirk, also stayed by hiding for several months due to political pressure and financial difficulties, and finally submitted his resignation to management.
Sources said that the founder of the PTI had expressed clear instructions that all the AMNs and AMP had to deposit funds to cover the expenses of the party secretariat, but the majority were not in line.
