The former NBA player, Marcus Morris, was arrested on Sunday for fraud, according to online arrest records in Florida.
He was arrested at an airport and was struck by fraud – write a check with insufficient funds – accusations. The Broward County County arrest file has shown that the case was linked to a question in another state and that it was detained in prison without deposit.

Markieff Morris, a twin brother of Marcus who also played in the NBA, wrote on the situation in an article on social networks.
“The wording is crazy. Damn for this amount of money, they will embarrass you at the airport with your family,” Markieff Morris wrote on Sunday later. “They really thought that Bro made fraud —. They could have arrived at the cradle for all this.
“When you all hear the real story about this s — guy. All I can say is the learned lesson. Bro will tell you all tomorrow. This bizarre s — gave me the head. I don’t stop anything!”
This is not the first time of Marcus Morris with the law.

He participated in a diversion program in 2012 after being accused of battery for a Kansas incident. He and Markieff were also accused of serious assault against an incident in 2015. The brothers were declared not guilty.
Marcus Morris was a choice of draft in the first round in 2011, starting his career with the Houston Rockets. He was in Houston for a full season before being exchanged at the Phoenix Suns in the middle of the 2012-13 season.
He also played with the Pistons de Detroit, the Celtics of Boston, the New York Knicks, the Clippers of Los Angeles, the 76ers of Philadelphia and finally the Cleveland Cavaliers.

He moved away from the NBA after the 2023-24 season.
