The leaders of the Washington commanders would be afraid of having to restore the nickname of the Redskins or perhaps face President Donald Trump hinders their DC stadium agreement in one way or another.
The organization was recently criticized by Trump for not having restored the name in a series of social messages of truth earlier this month. The New York Post reported on Wednesday that the owners of Josh Harris and David Blitz teams had warned the sales partners that the White House “has a lever effect” on their plans to build a stadium on the old site of the RFK stadium.
The stadium is on federal lands rented to the DC government for at least the next 99 years, noted the New York Post. The DC Council should vote on a revised bill that would allow commanders to build the stadium, said President Phil Mendelson last week.

The $ 3.7 billion project would receive $ 1 billion in public funding at $ 2.7 billion from the organization itself.
The New York Post reported that Trump could “use his administrative state control to extract dealerships”. A source warned the point of sale that Harris and Blitzer should have to “compete before Trump yields” if they decide to change the name.

Trump has exerted pressure on commanders and Cleveland Guardians – calling the two organizations in two articles carried out on TRUTH Social.
“My statement on Washington Redskins has completely exploded, but only in a very positive way,” wrote Trump on social networks. “I can put a restriction on which if they do not change the name in the original” Washington Redskins “, and get rid of the ridiculous nickname,” Washington commanders “, I will not agree to build a stadium in Washington. The team would be much more precious, and the agreement would be more exciting for everyone.”
The president added that the guards should follow suit.

“Cleveland is expected to do the same with the Cleveland Indians. The owner of the Cleveland baseball team Matt Dolan, who is very political, lost three consecutive elections because of this ridiculous name change,” added Trump. “What he does not understand is that if he has changed the name of the Cleveland Indians, he could actually gain an election. The Indians are treated very unfairly. Make the Indians again (Miga)!”
It was the second time in a day that he made his requests.
“The Washington ‘What’s’ should immediately change its name in the Washington Redskins football team. There is a big complaint for that,” Trump Social Trump on Sunday. “Likewise, the Cleveland Indians, one of the six original baseball teams, with a legendary past.
“Our great Indians, in massive numbers, want this to happen. Their inheritance and their prestige are systematically removed from them.

“He suggested that the previous opposition of the DC of the team returning to the city while the Redskins did more to see with Dan Snyder than in the name,” wrote Radio Grant Paulsen about Mendelson. “Suggested that he would have no problem with DC welcoming the team with the name Redskins now.”
Harris was categorical about maintaining the names of the commanders. Hae declared on the “special report” of PK Press Club Channel in April that the team would not bring the names of the Redskins even with plans to build a new stadium in Washington, DC
“The names of the commanders actually took an incredible element in our building,” said Harris to the Bret Baier’s question on the names of the Redskins which goes up as part of this new stadium agreement. “Thus, people that certain types of players are hard, who love football, are delegated commanders and Jayden [Daniels]For example, is a commander and they are classified.
“And, you know, corporate staff have entered, and obviously, we are in a military city here. There are more military staff than everywhere else, so we are moving forward with the names of the commanders, excited about it, and not looking back.”
