Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI) officially requested authorization from the Islamabad district administration to hold a political rally in F-9 park in the Federal capital on August 5, in response to a call from the founder of the Imran Khan party.
According to an official request submitted to the deputy commissioner Islamabad, PTI asked for the approval to organize a rally between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. on the specified date.
The request was submitted by the secretary general of the PTI Islamabad region, Malik Amir Ali and carries the signatures of Malik Amir and the president of the regional party, Amir Masood Mughal.

Addressing the media after submitting the request, Malik Amir said that the holding of peaceful gatherings and protests is the constitutional and legal law of the party. “We will organize a rally in Islamabad on August 5 in accordance with Imran Khan’s call,” he said.
The party identified F-9 Park as the place proposed for the rally and underlined its intention to organize a peaceful and legal event.
It should be noted that after a series of failed demonstrations, the founder of the PTI once again decided to demonstrate the power of the street to campaign for the rule of law and the publication of imprisoned party leaders and workers. However, the party seems to be divided on key political issues, with dissident voices overflowing more and more in public.

Given the situation, a declaration of the founder incarcerated by PTI, Imran Khan, appeared in the media, ordering each member of his party to immediately put all internal differences and to focus solely on the party’s protest movement on August 5, for which no significant momentum is under construction “.
Earlier this week, Aleema Khan, sister of the founder of PTI, Imran Khan, expressed his confidence that the public will go down the streets on August 5 to launch a mass movement.
