The Pakistani army and the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China are real arms brothers, the chief of the Marshal of the Army (COAS) said on Friday, addressing a cereconia held at the general seat (GHQ) Rawalpindindi on Friday to commemorate the 98th anniversary of the ALP.
FM Munnir has reaffirmed the commitment to the sustainable partnership between the two countries and its key role in promoting regional stability and the safeguarding of shared strategic interest.

Welcoming Chinese guests, FM Munir congratulated the APL for its founding birthday and praised its contribution to the defense, security and construction of the China nation.
He described the Pakistani-China links as “unique, tested in time and exceptionally resilient” in the midst of the world’s world and regional dynamics, and stressed that the strategic partnership between the two countries reflected mutual trust, unshakable support and shared commitment.
The Chinese ambassador thanked the coas for having welcomed the commemoration and recognized the role of the armed forces of Pakistan in the efforts to fight terrorism. He reiterated China’s continuous support to its strategic partnership with Pakistan.
