The New York Mets sent four players to Atlanta for the star match a few weeks ago, but the star, the Francisco Lindor short stop said there should have been another player who went with them.
Lindor, 31, said that his star teammate Juan Soto should have joined the Mets contingent in Atlanta.
“I hope we can bring players like him to every star match,” Lindor told PK Press Club Digital last week after talking about Miracle Treat Day to DQ.

“I want him to be there with us. He deserved him. He should certainly have been there.”
Soto started the slow year, but really turned it to the stars’ break. In 106 games this season, Soto has an average of the stick of .248 with 25 circuits, 62 products produced and 15 stolen bases.
Lindor said Soto was not the only player to have been snubbed in the game.

“It was not only him, someone can say many players from the League who did not obtain the recognition they deserve,” said Lindor.
“Juan Soto (is) one of the best strikers in the league, and he will end up with the figures he wants (at the end of the season) and will probably end with a silver hitter, and we will see what else, but it would have been cool to see him in Atlanta.”
