John Cena seemed to resume her senses with just over 48 hours before defending the undisputed WWE championship against Cody Rhodes in Summerslam in a street fight.
Cena had been the villain since he dressed up with rock and Travis Scott in February in the elimination chamber. He then kicked Rhodes in the groin and obtained the help of Scott to Wrestlemania 41 to defeat Rhodes for his 17th championship reign – the most in the history of WWE.

During the “Smackdown” edition on Friday, the crowd that wrapped the prudential center in Newark obtained a classic CENA promotion. He thanked Rhodes for having withdrawn him from his poor quality character, said that he was not going to try to ruin the struggle and wanted to take his belt with him when he left WWE, because he did not want fans to forget.
Cena said Rhodes’ beat kicked him in the ass he needed to dig and meet and also had subtle shots for rock and Scott.

“For 25 years, day after day, I had exercised a reputation for hard work, honestly and respect. And now I realize, five months ago, I rinsed everything in the toilet running the false glory when I bought someone to make shocking television. And we did it, we shocked the world, we made a very television. Someone, I am not,” said Cena.
“Mark your calendar, Cody, on August 1, 2025, in Newark, New Jersey, the day John Cena returned to WWE … I don’t know who leaves with that on Sunday (holding the title). But I know who is winning in the end to see Cody Rhode Event Street Fight without rules you want.
Rhodes could not help smiling.

It was Cena that fans knew. But the 48 -year -old man will participate in an exhausting street fight with the possibility that his title reign ends.
