Summerslam 2025: Tiffany Stratton keeps WWE female fieldonship

The future of the WWE female division was exposed to Summerslam on Saturday evening.

Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill fought in a brutal Slobber Knocker for the WWE Women Championship. Stratton entered the match with a reign of more than 200 days and Cargill entered the fight as winner of the Queen of the Ring tournament. It was both the first appearance of Summerslam competitors.

Stratton started with air assaults to try to demolish the power that is Cargill. She struck a suicide dive outside the ring and hit a swanton of the upper rope. But she became too cute with her gymnastics and Cargill maneuvers caught her.

Cargill continued at the offensive after that, hitting a back, then later the eye of the storm. It seemed that Cargill was going to take control but a Stratton counter and the champion was back in the driver’s seat.
