Seth Rollins clarified when CM Punk returned to WWE almost two years ago that he was going to do everything in his power to ensure that Punk has never held a world title again.
For a few moments, Rollins did not hold this promise. CM Punk defeated Gunther to win the World Heavy Instead Championship in a conventional professional wrestling match. It was his first WWE title in 12 years, but from the start of the celebration, it ended.

The success of Rollins’ music and Metlife Stadium fans exploded. Paul Heyman held the money in the Bank’s case and Rollins was in a splint and crutches apparently pointing that he was still injured by his incident of the main event on Saturday evening against the Knight. He hampered the ramp and then turned around, only to throw his crutches and remove his splint.
He rushed into the ring with the case, hit the punk several times and has conceded his opportunity. Rollins struck the stomp on punk and pinned him to win the championship.

He also buried an absolute classic match between Punk and Gunther. They released all the stops on Saturday evening in the main event of the first night of Summerslam.

Punk took advantage of it for a few moments, but Gunther put it in a berth. Punk beat it and hit the Go to sleep, not one, but twice in a row.

Punk has pinned Gunther to win the world heavyweight championship. But everything was for nothing. Rollins is now a double world heavyweight champion.
