Summerslam 2025: Dominik Mysterio keeps the intercontinental championship

Dominik Mysterio participated in his match against AJ Styles in Summerslam, seeking to prove himself as a reigning intercontinental champion.

He channeled his Inner Eddie Guerrero and resorted to some of his dirty things and used them on styles.

Styles thought he had mysterio. He used the veal crusher on Mysterio but Styles ended up removing his opponent’s boot. The styles accidentally tangled with the referee and with a fraction of a second to lose and the back of the referee turned, Mysterio struck the styles with his boot.

Mysterio nailed the frog on styles and pinned it for victory.

Mysterio won the intercontinental championship in a deadly four -track match in Wrestlemania. He defended the title twice against Penta and again against Octagon Jr. Styles was the last victim.

“King of the Luchadores. Remember the name,” dirty “Dominik Mysterio,” he cried the camera while he was ramp.

Mysterio was seen in AAA putting its name in the ring to compete for the AAA Mega championship and will be part of a fatal four -lane match for the title against champion El Hijo del Vikingo, Dragon Lee and El Grande Americano.

For styles, well, he was left in shock.

He teased during the Summerslam kick -off program that the event could be the last Summerslam of his professional wrestling career.

This raises the question – What does the future contain styles after Sunday evening?
