Islamabad:
On Monday, Pakistan unequivocally sentenced the recent priority of the Al-Aqsa mosque by Israeli ministers, accompanied by groups of settlers and protected by Israeli police.
“This sacrilege against one of the most sacred sites of Islam is not only an affront to the faith of more than a billion Muslims, but also to a direct attack on international law and the collective conscience of humanity,” wrote Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on his chronology X.

He said that such systematic provocations by the occupation power, coupled with reckless calls for annexation, jeopardizing the perspectives of peace.
The Prime Minister said that the shameless actions of Israel deliberately ignited tensions in Palestine and the region in the broad sense, pushing the Middle East near instability and conflicts.
“Pakistan reiterates its urgent appeal to an immediate ceasefire, the end of all acts of aggression, and the rebirth of a credible peace process leading to an independent and viable state of Palestine, with al-Quds al-Sharif as capital, under international law and relevant United Nations resolutions,” added Prime Minister Shehbaz.
In addition, Islamabad strongly condemned the provocative and deeply offensive desecration of the Al-Aqsa mosque by thousands of Israeli colonists, including higher ministers, officials and members of Knesset, under the protection of occupying Israeli forces.
In a statement, the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Shafqat Ali Khan, said that the presence and declarations of senior Israeli officials, and the repugnant declaration that “the Temple Mount is for us”, are a dangerous and deliberate attempt to cause religious feelings around the world, to relax tensions and to modify the status of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
He declared that the expansionist attempts of Israel are a deliberate effort to destabilize the region and sabotage any significant path towards peace. These provocations may light a catastrophic spiral of violence in the region.
The spokesman stressed that the world should not remain silent in the face of such a systemic, illegal, inhuman and illegal aggression.
These actions constitute a blatant violation of international rights of human rights and humanitarian laws, the Charter of the United Nations, as well as various resolutions of the UN and the ICO.
He urged the international community, in particular the United Nations, to take immediate and concrete measures to hold Israel responsible for its illegal actions and to protect the religious holiness of the Al-Aqsa mosque and the rights of the Palestinian people, in particular the right to self-determination.
The spokesperson reaffirmed the unshakable support of Pakistan to the creation of a sovereign, independent, viable and contiguous Palestinian state based on the pre-June borders of 1967, with al-Quds al-Sharif as capital.
Earlier, Israeli air strikes continued in Gaza, and the Minister of Far Right National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, led prayers to the al-Aqsa mosque in occupying Jerusalem, causing the conviction of the regional powers.
Ben-Gvir was one of 1,250 individuals who prayed on the site under Israeli military protection.
The compound, known to the Jews under the name of Mount of the Temple, has a deep religious meaning – being the most holy site in Judaism and the third most holy of Islam.
It remains under the Jordanian guard, and a long -standing agreement authorizes Jewish visits but prohibits prayer.
