PM reaffirms the unshakable solidarity of Pakistan with the Kashmiris

Islamabad:

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the right resolution of the Jammu and cashmere dispute was a key pillar of Pakistan’s foreign policy and urged the international community to play a role in stopping Indian Human Rights Crimes in Jammu and Kashmir of Indian origin (IIOJK).

In his message on the occasion of Youm-E-Tistehsaal, which is observed Tuesday (today), the Prime Minister urged the world community to put pressure on India to reverse its unilateral and illegal actions of August 5, 2019; Abrogate draconian laws and implement the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council on cashmere.

“Today is a day for all Pakistanis, and all the people who love world peace, to salute the unwavering resilience and spirit of the sacrifice of the cashmere people,” he said. “The government of Pakistan and I reaffirm the unshakable solidarity of the Pakistani people with our cashmere sisters and our brothers.”

He said that India’s uninsured assault against Pakistan in May 2025, and its rapid and complete military defeat were only the last proof of the urgent need for the international community to ensure that the resolution of the cashmere dispute becomes a global priority.

“The will and aspirations of the Kashmir people, in accordance with the resolutions of the UN Security Council, are the only way to follow,” said Shehbaz. He reaffirmed the flawless position of Pakistan, the moral, political and diplomatic support of the cashmere people until the realization of their inalienable right to self -determination.

Youm-e-É-ISTHSAAL is observed to express their support for the right of the cashmere people to freedom and to protest against the illegal and unilateral action of India of August 5, 2019. It was that day in 2019 when India has unilaterally and illegally stripped of Jammu and the cashmere of its special status.

Special events were organized to mark the day. A rally will be withdrawn in Islamabad at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which will be joined by dignitaries and people of different horizons before concluding at D Chowk. A minute of silence will be observed at 10 a.m.

Walks and special events will take place in the four provinces, Azad Jammu and Cashmire, and Gilgit-Baltistan. Pakistani missions abroad have also organized special events in relation to Youm-E -istehsaal.
