“Going to space has always been a dream since I was little,” Sun said in Coindesk in an interview after stolen aboard Blue Origin’s NS-34 mission on August 3.

“We are at the beginning of a new chapter of exploration, where space becomes more and more open and accessible, not only for governments or large institutions,” he said.

Sun obtained its headquarters on Blue Origin in 2021 with a winning offer of $ 28 million during a public auction. At the time, his identity was kept secret. He later revealed that he was the anonymous buyer and announced his intention to bring five other passengers with him to a future flight.

“In the coming months, Mr. Sun will appoint five exceptional men and women to travel with him during his trip,” said Blue Origin in an announcement in 2021.

Sun, who finally stole after years of delays, described the 10 -minute trip as “a surreal, peaceful, calm and completely unforgettable experience”.

“In space, I realized how small the earth was. It is the only house we have, and we have to do everything we can to take care of it,” he said.

Despite the risks of space in space, Sun said that he is hosting the challenge.

“Progress rarely comes without challenges. I have always been open to trying new things and pushing beyond my comfort zone,” he said.

Sun also took the opportunity to link the mission to his work in the blockchain.

“It is a fascinating moment for Tron. We have always focused on innovation and widening of what is possible, starting with finance and now looking beyond the earth,” he continued.

“The sending of a ton in space is a powerful symbol of what borderless cooperation can achieve. I believe that the potential advantages of spatial exploration prevail from far the risks, “added Sun.

“Each step that we make helps to make the space safer and more accessible for others in the future,” he noted.
