50,000 loans granted within the framework of the Punjab’s “APNI Chat Apna Ghar” project

The chief minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, said that as part of the “Apni Chat Apna Ghar” housing program, 50,000 citizens received uninteresting loans in just six months. The program aims to provide affordable housing to the citizens of the province.

Addressing the Lahore Expo Center ceremony, Maryam stressed the successful disbursement of low -income families, Radio Pakistan reported on Wednesday.

“The promise of” apni cat apna ghar “has been held, and 50,000 citizens have now received the financial support they need to build their homes,” she said.

The event has seen thousands of families who have benefited from the program, including many women and children. CM Maryam has personally met families who have already started building their homes as part of the project, offering them congratulations and encouragement.

“Many of these families, including a ripper driver and a woman who talked about the house of her dreams, have expressed sincere gratitude,” said the CM. A Rawalpindi recipient emotionally told the realization of his dream of having a house, thanking Nawaz Sharif and Maryam to make it possible.

The program offers loans for houses ranging from five to ten marlas, with more than 74 billion rupees of uninteresting without interest. The first phase of the project experienced a 99%loan collection rate.

In the briefing, it was shared that more than 37,000 families have already received the two payments of their loans and that more than 52,000 houses are currently under construction.

At the end of the month, 75,000 loans will have been disbursed, with an affordable monthly payment of only 15,000 rupees, which made the reimbursement process more manageable for the beneficiaries.

CM Maryam also said that around 45,000 houses are currently under construction as part of the program and that 9,000 houses have already been completed. “This initiative is to provide people with the means to build a better future for themselves and their families,” she concluded.
