Tua Tagovailoa is one of the former and current athletes to be appointed to the advice of President Donald Trump on sports, fitness and nutrition.
Council president Bryson Dechambeau, Lawrence Taylor, Harrison Butker, Paul “Triple H” Levesque and Annika Sorenstam were at the White House last week when Trump signed an executive decree that restored the council as well as the presidential fitness test.
Tagovailoa was not at the event, because he is busy in the training camp, but at the very least, he is proud to be part of the team.

“I think it’s pretty cool-it’s an honor,” he said about the named.
Tagovailoa admitted that he did not know “too much about this” and was “not too sure” in the way the situation developed.
Gary Bettman, Cody Campbell, Roger Goodell, Wayne Gretzky, Nelly Korda, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Mariano Rivera, Tony Romo and Matthew Tkachuk were also appointed to the Council, according to the White House. Saquon Barkley refused.
In March, Ivanka Trump, the president’s daughter, published photos on her Instagram who showed that Tagovailoa and the Large Braxton Berrios receiver have fun with the family.
She has published a “emptying” of several photos and videos of the month of February, including a photo of her husband, Jared Kushner, with Berrios, tagovailoa and his son.

Tagovailoa’s wife Annah previously showed support for the president. In October, Annah published a story on Instagram on Wednesday which praised Trump’s preventive response to Hurricane Milton.
While Annah received praise for her post, there were some negative comments aimed at her and her husband.
