The eminent democrat and former American secretary of transport, Pete Buttigieg, addressed his recent comments on the equity of leaving biological men competing in female and girls sports.
After Buttigieg declared “there are serious equity problems” on the subject of letting athletes transal with women during an interview with NPR in July, the Democrat spoke again of the subject during a subordinate live interview with Aaron Parnas. The Democrat suggested that parents who oppose allow men to compete with girls must be heard.
“I think that to bring people together, we must also take everyone seriously, including parents who have questions,” said Buttigieg.

“People who have questions or wonder what it means … They will have questions about how to make sure it’s right, and we should take these questions seriously and face them together.”
Former South Bend, Indiana, mayor, also said that he thought the problem “was used to hurt” people as a political subject, and he doubled on the position that policies surrounding trans athletes in women’s sports should not be made by politicians.
“I see this problem used to divide. I see that it is used to hurt people,” he said. “It is particularly hurtful for trans people and people with transgender members of their family who witness themselves or people they like to be used as political football.”
The original Quotes of Buttigieg on NPR in July aroused questions and criticisms of certain pro-Trans liberals and activists, while the question continues to divide the Democratic Party.
Buttigieg has joined several other eminent media democrats and experts who have spoken against men’s authorization to compete with women, notably the Governor of California Gavin Newsom; The representative Seth Moulton, D-Mass.; and the HBO Bill Maher host.
An April report by The New York Times The statements that Biden did not agree with the trans athletes participating in female and girls sports.
How transgender in sports changed the 2024 elections and sparked a national counterculture
“According to a number of former officials from the Biden administration, there has been a debate that flows within the administration to find out if these title IX protections should extend to sports,” Times reported. “One side … argued that there was no legal difference between letting the students Trans use bathrooms that align themselves with their gender identity and leaving trans students to play in the sports teams who align themselves with their gender identity.”
However, Biden was “on the other side … who thought that the competitive and a zero nature of the sports made them different from the bathrooms – that some transgender athletes would appreciate the unjust physical advantages compared to women. More importantly, one of the officials that held this point of view was Biden himself.”
A New York Times / Ipsos survey have found that the vast majority of Americans, including the majority of Democrats, do not think that transgender athletes should be authorized to participate in female sports.
“Thinking about Transgender female athletes – which means athletes who were male at birth but who currently identify themselves as a woman – do you think they should or should not be allowed to compete in female sports? “Asked the investigation.
Of the 2,128 people who participated, 79% said that biological men who identify themselves as women should not be allowed to participate in female sports.
Of the 1,025 people who have identified as a democrats or who lean a democrat, 67% said that transgender athletes should not be allowed to compete with women.
Other data suggest that the problem affected the outcome of the 2024 elections.
