The silence fell into the last cabinet of the Texans training camp in Houston in Virginia-Western after one of the main defensive players of the team appeared seriously injured.
The last intrasquad melee of the Texans at the Greenbrier Resort was well in progress when the defensive back CJ Gardner-Johnson fell to the ground after addressing his teammate John Metchie III.
Gardner-Johnson was in notable discomfort and seemed to have trouble moving his right leg. The Texan coaches and the other players quickly surrounded Gardner-Johnson before the medical staff helped security in a cart.
