Islamabad:
The long wait continues for passengers hoping for the resumption of PIA flights to the United Kingdom, while the offices of the national carrier of the flag on a national scale see an increasing influx of anxious travelers looking for updates.
Although more than three weeks have passed since the United Kingdom has raised its ban on traveling on the PIA, the national carrier has not yet restarted its direct flight operations.
PIA officials say that all operational preparations have been finalized, but the launch now depends on the issuance of the license for third-party country operators by the United States Aviation Authority-A requirement for non-European airlines to operate in the United Kingdom.
