Google has deleted Google Pixel 6A from its renovated online window, which means that you can no longer buy the cheapest renovated pixel phone directly.
Although Google did not give any official reason or announcement concerning the withdrawal of the Pixel 6A, the action follows several reports on the Pixel 6A handsets overheat and even the fire.
We recently pointed out that Google had issued the Pixel 6A with an update to try to reduce overheating by intentionally limiting load performance and battery life.
However, Android Authority reports that at least one Google Pixel 6a caught fire after the show of the update, it is therefore possible (but again, completely unconcetic) that Google draws the Pixel 6A in response.
Although we cannot suggest that Google has removed the Pixel 6A because of these reports, I would always recommend avoiding Google Pixel 6A during purchases from third -party retailers or on the used market.
There have been relatively few combined reports, but there are many big phones to choose from what it is not even a consideration – be sure to consult our best cheap phones for certain ideas.
The Google Pixel 6a was launched in July 2022 as a cheaper version of the Pixel 6. Our Pixel 6a review noted when the battery life was a weak point for this mid -range handset, although we do not know if it is linked to the problems currently reported.
In addition, it is likely that Google wishes to avoid controversy during the launch window of the Pixel 10 series – we expect complete revelations for the new generation of Google flagship products during this year’s Google presentation on August 20. The handsets of three years ago would take fire (ironically) would put a little buming on the celebrations.
