Grant Napear, the former Sacramento Kings broadcaster dismissed for an article that said “All Lives Matter”, joined “Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show” on Friday for an interview.
Like Dan Zaksheske written ThursdayNapear finally won another radio broadcasting work. He will organize his own program on Fox Sports Radio Station in Sacramento which will be broadcast during the week of 3 to 6 PST, from September 2.
Before that, he broadcast games for the Kings for 26 years and was dismissed for this simple tweet which he published in 2020.

Napear joined the Travis and Sexton show and spoke of his experience of dismissal. He mentioned that many people in his circle and within the industry have spoken in private with him and expressed their support.
“In private, people were indignant, they were blown away,” said Napear. “I had some of the biggest names in the sports industry who contacted me, speaking of the way they couldn’t believe it. They told me that they were going to be nervous to say something that they should not or (that) it was going to be misinterpreted.”

However, Napear said he had no one in his defense because they were afraid of the repercussions to stand up to someone who had said something judged offensive.
“But what was incredible is that each of them said:” I would like to speak publicly for you, but I can’t. “They were too afraid.

Although this had to be discouraging (in addition to the expectation of five years to recover a job in the industry), the judge smiled in Napear and restored it to do what he likes. It is good that this evil – at least in part – has been rectified.
