In the midst of whirling rumors of his resignation – which he vehemently denied – the Minister of Defense, Khawaja Asif, met the president of the PML -N Nawaz Sharif on Friday at his residence.
No statement was published in the media concerning the content of their discussion.
The Minister of Defense recently drew public attention after raising himself from bureaucracy, accusing him of creeping corruption.
In an article Tuesday, AIF wrote on X: “More than half of the bureaucracy of our dear homeland has already acquired a property in Portugal and is now preparing to guarantee citizenship”.
“These are eminent bureaucrats who, after having diverted billions, now enjoy a relaxed and retired life,” he wrote.
Commenting on politicians, AIF pointed out that they “feed on the leftovers and make noise, without having plots or hold foreign citizenship, because they are linked by the need to challenge the elections”.
He also alleged that “the key figure facilitating bureaucracy and other elites in obtaining a shelter in Portugal is Mr. Virk”.
“These are well -known bureaucrats. However, after having devoured billions of rupees, they live comfortably a retired life. One of the bureaucrats closest to Buzdar has collected four billion rupees just in Salami for the weddings of his daughters and has now calmed a retirement life. Must contest the elections.
It is reported that the explosion of Khawaja Asif was triggered by the arrest of an additional assistant (Revenue) of Sialkot for graft costs. The said officer would be close to Khawaja Asif and his family.
