The Workers Welfare Board Sindh (WWBS) has announced a series of wellness initiatives for industrial workers from minority communities and women, including the supply of electric bikes, as part of Maarka-E-HAQ and independence celebrations.
Sindh’s secretary of labor, Rafiq Qureshi, said that strengthening the institution’s financial credibility, WWBS, will invest 3 billion rupees in SUKUK bonds that comply with Sharia law approved by SECP.
This decision aims to generate funds to extend workers’ facilities.
