Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said on Monday that the country’s bureaucracy had not been faced with responsibility in the past 78 years and had warned to disclose the names of the bureaucrats who bought properties in Portugal.

The days of Asif’s declaration came after saying that more than half of its members bought properties in Portugal and are preparing to acquire citizenship there.

Reacting to the arrest of the additional income of Sialkot’s deputy commissioner (ADCR), Asif said that he had no involvement in the case.
The ADCR was arrested by the anti-corruption establishment (ACE) for alleged financial irregularities and then obtained a five-day pre-trial detention.
